ILYO at Young Euro Classic 2022 Festival in Berlin!
It's been already confirmed. This year, we will give the final concert twice: once in the main hall of the Berlin Konzerthaus as part of the prestigious Young Euro Classic 2022 Festival, and then in the golden hall of the Philharmonic in Szczecin.
Young Euro Classic is an annual, unique gathering of youth orchestras from all over the world, from Romania to Portugal, from Sweden to Cuba. Youth orchestras come to Berlin to present the works of composers from all over the world. Every year in the capital of Germany, young musicians prove that music is the universal language of the world.
The Young Euro Classic Festival has a long history. Its first edition took place in 2000. From the very beginning, its goal was to create a platform for meetings and exchange of experiences for the best youth orchestras in the world, at the same time allowing them to present themselves in one of the most renowned concert halls in Europe.
It will be the first time the International Lutosławski Youth Orchestra will join the Young Euro Classic. It is a great honour for our project, which we are very proud of. We are sure that the concert at the Konzerthaus Berlin will be a huge event and an unforgettable experience for the participants of this year's jubilee edition of ILYO. We take care of the travel and accommodation of our young instrumentalists in Berlin. So stay tuned. We'll soon announce all the recruitment details for this year's ILYO.
