Brandon Ridenour - trumpet - (Canadian Brass)
He is a member of the most famous brass quintet globally – Canadian Brass. He joined this legendary ensemble at only 20, thus becoming its youngest instrumentalist in history.
Brandon Ridenour is a laureate of numerous prestigious music awards, including The Concert Artist Guild, International Trumpet Guild, and The American Composers Forum. He has collaborated with outstanding musicians such as Sting, James Taylor, Marvin Hamlisch, Yo-Yo Ma, Wynton Marsalis, Esperanza Spalding and John Williams, and the world's leading orchestras, New York Philharmonic, National Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, International Contemporary Ensemble, the Knights, Orpheus, Orchestra of St. Luke's and The Mahler Chamber Orchestra.
Brandon Ridenour has released three solo albums with virtuoso reinterpretations of classical pieces for trumpet and piano. Apart from music, she is fascinated by theatre, especially comedy, and writes her own sketches in hir free time. He works closely with the UCB (Upright Citizens Brigade) theatre. He lives in Brooklyn.
